Secure files

Keep certificates, keys and configuration files next to your variables.

Supported files

  • Certificates and keys: .pem, .crt, .cert, .key, .p8, .p12, .pfx
  • Keystores: .jks, .keystore
  • Apple provisioning profiles: .mobileprovision, .provisionprofile
  • Configuration: .json, .env, .yaml, .yml, .toml, .xml, .properties, .cfg, .conf, .ini

Each plan sets how many files an environment can hold and their maximum size, up to 1 MB per file. See Pricing.

Upload a file

  1. Open an environment and switch to the Secure Files tab.
  2. Choose Upload File and select the file.

Files are encrypted like variables.

Download a file

Download it from the dashboard, run smart-grow cloud_download_file on your machine, or use smart-grow cloud_sync_file with an API key in CI. See CLI.
